Very pleased that "Judith Shakespeare's Brother," my essay on Woolf, Shakespearean romance, women, and inheritance, is out in the current issue of MLQ. I gave an early version of this paper at the Shakespeare Association of America (SAA) annual meeting in Atlanta in 2017, as part of a panel on "Feminist Formalism in Early Modern Literary Studies" with Jennifer Higginbotham and Lara Dodds, chaired by Evelyn Gajowski.
